Cherkasy regional state adminstration establishes cooperation with Ptoukha institute for demography and social studies
On February 7, 2025, an online meeting was held between the Deputy Head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration Oleksandr Turchenyak, representatives of the Department of Regional Development of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, Cherkasy Regional Development Agency with Ella Libanova, director of Ptoukha Institute for Demography and Social Studies, with the participation of representatives of the Institute.
During the meeting, they discussed future cooperation within the framework of updating Cherkasy Region Development Strategy 2021-2027 and working out its Implementation Plan for the period of 2024-2027.
As Oleksandr Turchenyak noted, the developed draft of the updated Strategy is currently being refined, considering the proposals submitted by members of the expert group and other stakeholders. Next, the Implementation Plan of the Strategy for the period of 2024-2027 will be developed.
During the meeting, there was a discussion on the potential of Cherkasy region, as well as on the support that can be provided by Ptoukha Institute for Demography and Social Studies for its implementation.
The next meeting is scheduled to be held offline.
