ANNOUNCEMENT on the collection of project ideas for the Action Plan for 2025-2027 on the Implementation of Cherkasy Region Development Strategy 2021-2027
A draft of the updated Cherkasy Region Development Strategy 2021-2027 has been developed. It is aligned with the updated State Regional Development Strategy 2021-2027 and takes into account today’s challenges, including those related to the war.
The development of the Action Plan for 2025-2027 on the Implementation of Cherkasy Region Development Strategy has begun.
An important stage of its development is the proposals of project ideas from representatives of the region (legal entities and individuals), which will allow the formation of the Action Plan on the Implementation of the Strategy.
We invite all those interested in the development of the Cherkasy region, including local governments, local state authorities, public organizations, businesses, educational and scientific institutions, and organizations of all forms of ownership, to submit project ideas that will be aimed at implementing the key areas of the Strategy:
- Strengthening the economic capacity of the region.
- Restoration and development of human capital.
- Increasing the resilience of communities.
Areas of smart-specialization of the region:
C.1. Innovative agricultural technologies, production and processing of agricultural products, high quality food products.
C.2. Development of the IT industry and information and communication technologies.
Special attention to the following points:
1) project ideas must be submitted within the framework of strategic, operational goals and objectives defined by the Strategy;
2) project ideas must be drawn up in accordance with the established form;
3) the recipient of benefits from the implementation of the project idea cannot be a separate individual or legal entity;
4) the term for the implementation of the project idea is 2025-2027;
5) there must be available resources, technical and organizational capabilities to implement the project idea;
6) the cost of the project idea must be justified.
The collection of project ideas will continue until August 1, 2025.

The selection of project ideas will be carried out by the expert group. Based on the results of this work, a List of project ideas will be formed, which will be included in the Action Plan.
