300 PROJECT IDEAS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED TO THE STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
The collection of project ideas to the Implementation Plan of Cherkasy Region Development Strategy for the period of 2021 – 2023 was completed.
We are grateful to everyone who joined the process of preparing and submitting project ideas.
A total of 300 project ideas have been submitted! Of them:
– to the strategic goal 1. ECONOMY: high-tech, productive, export-oriented – 11.7% of the total;
– to the strategic goal 2. PEOPLE: professional, adaptive, united – 25.7%;
– to the strategic goal 3. HIGH QUALITY OF LIFE: ecology, security, infrastructure – 58.6%.
Also 4% of project ideas were submitted within the framework of 2 areas of smart-specialization of the region (agro-industrial complex and IT sector).
Amalgamated territorial communities were the most active in submitting project ideas, having submitted 81 project ideas (27% of the total). Also, project ideas came from structural divisions of the regional state administration, regional units of central executive bodies, district state administrations, executive committees of the cities of regional importance, village councils, Cherkasy Regional Development Agency, educational institutions, public organizations and other providers.
Currently, the Department of Regional Development of Cherkasy Regional State Administration together with Cherkasy Regional Development Agency are analyzing submitted project ideas.
Subsequently, the expert group on Cherkasy Region Development Strategy will select the project ideas that will be included in the Strategy Implementation Plan for 2021-2023.
