From January 21 to February 11 there was a series of cluster studies that covered the entire territory of Cherkasy region. About 150 participants from among representatives of structural divisions of the RSA, district state administrations, district councils, local communities (including amalgamated territorial communities), scientists, public figures, businessmen studied preparation of project ideas for the Implementation Plan of Cherkasy Region Development Strategy for the period of 2021 – 2023.
Four cluster studies were organized and conducted by the Cherkasy Regional Development Agency and the Department of Regional Development of Cherkasy Regional State Administration.
The participants got acquainted with the purpose of Cherkasy Region Development Strategy for the period of 2021 – 2027 and its Implementation Plan, the strategic goals, possible financial sources for projects, and peculiarities of projects submission for receiving financial resources, as well as the components of filling in the project application.
Studies moderators – Director of Cherkasy Regional Development Agency Liubov Ropalo and Deputy Head of the Department of Regional Development Sergii Danylenko – conducted a practical training on writing a project application to the Strategy Implementation Plan.
The collection of project ideas for the Implementation Plan is ongoing until February 17, 2020. About 270 project ideas have already been submitted.
Further, the expert group will carry out the selection of project ideas, which will be included in the Strategy Implementation Plan for 2021-2023.
