Webinar with MinRegion
On March 6, 2019 the representatives of regional authorities and their partners joined a webinar on devising regional development strategies for 2021-2027.
The webinar was organized by the Group of Advisers on the implementation of the state regional policy in Ukraine, the “U-LEAD with Europe” program and the Directorate of Regional Development of the Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services (MinRegion).
Such issues were covered during the webinar:
- the advisory support of the processes of regional development strategies preparation from the Group of Advisers;
- the results of the regional statistics analysis that can be used to identify smart specialization;
- the main elements of the entrepreneurial discovery process (how to form working parties for the entrepreneurial discovery process, main questions to be discussed during the meeting of these working parties in the entrepreneurial discovery process, factors which influence the choice of priorities of smart specialization), etc.
The online conference on the current issues of regional development strategies for the period up to 2027 preparation was a part of the webinar. The representatives of all Ukrainian regions joined the conference and shared the information about the phase of their strategies development and problems they face while working on them.
The representatives of the Department of Regional Development of Cherkasy regional state administration, Cherkasy Regional Development Agency and Cherkasy Center of Local Governance Development took part in the conference.
