CHERKASY REGION IS REGISTERED ON S3 PLATFORM
Smart-specialization is rather spread in European countries. It`s a principle which is applied during elaboration of a development strategy of an administrative unit, so as to consider its unique potential and competitive advantages over other areas. The primary feature of smart-specialization is creating development strategies in close cooperation and dialogue between authority, business, science, and society.
A year ago, on the initiative of the Department of Regional Development of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, Cherkasy region was registered on S3 Platform, which is one of the tools for development and implementation of smart-specialization strategy.
In collaboration with the experts of S3 Platform, the profile of Cherkasy region is currently filled out and posted on the Platform. The next step is working out and implementation of smart-specialization strategy itself.
